Webinar: Renaissance Art History in Florence, Italy (Intersession Abroad 2020)
Description
Learn more about this intensive intersession abroad course, which offers students an introduction to the art, architecture and culture of the Italian Renaissance roughly from 1280-1580 with the churches, palaces, museums and piazzas of Florence and nearby cities serving as the classroom. Students will examine the art of Giotto, Brunelleschi, Masaccio, Donatello, Fra Angelico, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Michelangelo in situ, taking breaks to sample the delicious local cuisine. The course offers three graded 3 (H) credits and is open to all undergraduate majors and years of study.
