Dr. Andrew Alleyne, a professor of Mechanical Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and director of the National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center on Power Optimization of Electro Thermal Systems, will give a talk entitled "A Hierarchical Approach to Control of Complex Energy and Power Systems for Air Vehicles" for the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
