Film Screening: "Marjoun and the Flying Headscarf"

Description

Join the Center for Advanced Media Studies for a screening of Susan Youssef's most recently released film, Marjoun and the Flying Headscarf, in which a teenager in Arkansas searches for identity in the headscarf and a motorcycle in the aftermath of her father's imprisonment.

Directly following the screening will be a Q&A session with the director as well as a response from a doctoral student studying American-Palestinian relations.
