Korean Pop Motion (KPM)

Description

Come out and audition for Korean Pop Motion on 9/13. KPM is also holding a workshop on 9/10 in which they teach the audition pieces. The workshop is open to anyone, even those not planning on auditioning.

KPM is JHU's resident Kpop dance team, and they dance primarily to current popular Korean music, as well as occasional American pop music and #tbt K-Pop.

(Optional) Pre-Audition Workshop: Date: Tuesday, September 10, 2019 Time: 8:30-10 p.m. Location: Caplan Dance Studio KPM will be teaching 30 seconds each of two songs (see below)-- feel free to come for just one song or for both. Exact times for each song TBC. Auditionees are only required to learn one song.

Auditions Date: Friday, September 13, 2019 Time: 7:30-10 p.m. (check-in at 7:30pm, auditions begin 8pm) Location: Caplan Dance Studio Students are free to audition even if they didn't attend the workshop-- they just have to make sure to pick up the songs on their own.

To be added to email updates: come see us at the Student Involvement Fair on Friday, September 6 at the Rec Center between 2-5 p.m. or message KPM with an email. KPM practices in the Caplan Dance Studio in the Mattin Center on Tuesdays 9-10 p.m., Fridays 8-10 p.m., and Saturdays 6:30-8:30 p.m. (dancers will usually show up for 2 out of the 3 practices each week, TBD for each dance).
