Description

Dr. Ram Sriram, the chief of the Software and Systems Division, Information Technology Laboratory, at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, will give a talk entitled "Transforming Health Care Through IoT and Omics Revolutions" for the Division of Health Sciences Informatics Grand Rounds.

Learning objectives:

  1. Describe the P7 concept of smart health care
  2. Summarize the evolution of the internet of things -- sensing, monitoring, and interpreting the environment
  3. Explain the omics revolutions -- genomics and sociomics
  4. List some research activities at the National Institute of Standards and Technology
