Medical Education Panel

Description

This forum will begin with panelists sharing their medical education, training, and practice background as well as their entrepreneurship journey, if applicable. Other topics for discussion will include digital medical education, gaps in national and global medical education, and present and future opportunities for entrepreneurship. All are welcome, particularly students and faculty.

Panelists include:

• Dr. Chandra Pemmasani (founder and CEO of USMLEWorld)
• Shiv Gaglani (cofounder and CEO of Osmosis)
• Dr. Peter Horneffer, MD '81 (director of medical education programs at Lecturio Medical Education)
• Dr. Marc Halushka (professor of pathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine)

This event is hosted by the Hopkins Health Innovation and Technology student group and is funded by the Johns Hopkins Office of Telemedicine and Dr. Zishan Siddiqui.
