Workshop: "Admin + Critical Thinker = Strategic Business Partner"

Description

This workshop focuses on learning and using critical thinking to enable administrative professionals to move into a strategic partner role with their executive. Attendees will review critical thinking components and participate in interactive exercises designed to teach them how to use these skills in their business relationships. The workshop will be led by Juanita Mort, CAP, OM, MOSM, chair-elect of the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

1. Define critical thinking.
2. Use and promote critical thinking in professional roles.
3. Relate the role of critical thinking to the administrative professional role.
4. Evaluate ideas objectively.
5. Use critical thinking skills to solve problems more effectively to make better decisions.
