1st annual Student Poster Session on Diversity & Inclusion

Description

The Johns Hopkins Diversity Leadership Council announces the 1st annual Student Poster Session on Diversity & Inclusion to be held at the Johns Hopkins Diversity Awards Ceremony on May 15, 2019. All JHU students (undergraduate and graduate) are invited to submit posters. Posters may be on any diversity-related topic that is associated with student life, academics, the Johns Hopkins organization, the surrounding communities, the city of Baltimore, or the state of Maryland. Suggested topics include: anti-Muslim sentiment, dismantling institutional racism, racial and religious diversity, Latinx inclusion, accessibility, gender equity in STEM, gender gap in higher ed, LGBTQ issues, community engagement, and immigrant populations. Three awards of $500 will be given to the authors of the best posters. Poster abstract submission deadline: April 12, 2019.
