Description

The Billie Holiday Project for Liberation Arts at Johns Hopkins University is pleased to present "Baltimore's Billie Holiday: A Journey in Maps & Archives," a lecture with Dr. Lawrence Jackson, a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of English and History, and students Francisco Perez Marsilla and Bianca Martone.

The trio will present original research unearthed this spring during an English Department seminar led by Dr. Jackson about Billie Holiday and African American life in mid-twentieth century Baltimore.

This lecture will be presented on May 6 and May 13.
