Description

Do you work with other people's data? Are there times when you need to clean or reorganize these data to work for you? This workshop from the Johns Hopkins Data Management Services will provide tools to efficiently clean and wrangle data in R.

Instructors will give an overview of popular R packages for data cleaning and wrangling and go into greater detail with a couple of them. R packages used in this workshop include: dplyr, tidyr, reshape2, and lubridate. Attendees will have plenty of opportunities to do hands-on activities on their laptops and work on datasets provided by instructors.

Attendees must either have some basic knowledge about using R or have previously attended the Introduction to R for Absolute Beginners workshop.
