Dr. Matthew Suriano, an associate professor of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures at the University of Maryland, will give the 2019 Asher Achinstein Lecture, titled "Tombs Remembered -- Tombs Forgotten: A Study of Jerusalem's Monumental Tombs during the First Millennium BCE," for the Department of Near Eastern Studies.
