Description
The Johns Hopkins University Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition is a research and scholarly communication competition open to all currently enrolled Johns Hopkins doctoral students. Doctoral students have three minutes -- and a single PowerPoint slide -- to present compelling and engaging talks on their dissertation topic and its significance. The goal of the competition is to develop students' academic, presentation, and professional communication skills.
Ten finalists will be chosen from the preliminary heats the first week of April and will compete against each other on April 17.
Join in person or via the live stream hosted on the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association's Facebook page to vote for your favorite talk or follow along on social media via #JHU3MT.
This event is hosted by the Johns Hopkins Medicine Professional Development and Career Office.
