Description

The Hatch Innovation Conference, hosted by TCO Labs, Inc., seeks to showcase and empower entrepreneurship and innovation at Johns Hopkins University by offering programming that benefits student entrepreneurs, students who want to work at startups, and students who are passionate about innovation but want to work with bigger companies.

The program is divided in two main parts: speaker/workshop and startup alley. The speakers and workshops focus on inspiring students with stories of successful entrepreneurs and innovators as well as giving them opportunities to learn. Startup alley showcases the student startups from the Hatchery and offers students a chance to find a job or internship at established startups in Maryland.

The 2019 speaker is David West, a Johns Hopkins alumnus and CEO of Proscia, a digital pathology company. West will share his experiences and knowledge regarding creating a company and running a business both generally and in the medical industry. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.

Food will be provided, and there will be an AirPods giveaway.
