Description

Did you know the first Gay Pride Block Party in Baltimore happened within blocks of the Homewood Campus? Or that during the 1970s, Baltimore's The Gay paper had a basement office located in Charles Village? Have you been to nearby "Lavender Lane," the street named for its visible lesbian activist residents?

If you want to learn more, join the Diverse Sexuality and Gender Alliance on a walking tour of Charles Village to learn about the LGBTQ+ history of the neighborhood, hosted by the wonderful Mo Speller. The tour will start outside Levering Hall and end at the Office of LGBTQ Life, where there will be an alumni mixer.
