Arrighi Center Seminar: Nicole Aschoff

Dr. Nicole Aschoff (Ph.D. 2010), a writer and member of the editorial board at Jacobin magazine, will give a seminar on her new book, The Smartphone Society: Technology, Power, and Resistance in the New Gilded Age for the Arrighi Center for Global Studies.

Dr. Aschoff has a Ph.D. in Sociology Johns Hopkins University and has published widely on the dynamics of contemporary capitalism seen through a sociological lens.
