Description

The Workshop on U.S.-Japan Relations provides an informal forum for students to interact with practitioners in the D.C. policymaking, think tank, and non-profit communities.

This year's workshop will focus on US-Japan-Korea trilateral relations and will feature Dr. Kent Calder, director of the Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, along with scholars and members of:

  • the School of Advanced International Studies' Reischauer Center
  • Japan's Ministry of Finance
  • Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI)
  • Japan's Ministry of Defense
  • Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO)
  • TV Asahi
