Description
The Public Health in Asia Symposium and American Mock World Health organization present a public health symposium and networking event "Advancing Equity, Driving Innovation." This symposium seeks to bring forth a holistic view of current innovations in public health technology and policy sectors.
Keynote speakers:
- Randy Bagwell, director of international humanitarian law at American Red Cross
- Bruce Lee, executive director of the Global Obesity Prevention Center at Johns Hopkins University
Schedule:
- Session 1: 9 a.m.-11 a.m.: Student presentations with catered breakfast from THB
- Session 2: 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Keynote speakers with catered lunch from Panera Bread and networking session
Attendees can come to either or both sessions.
Come enjoy the delicious food and student research presenters and to take advantage of our networking opportunities with healthcare professionals and directors from the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the American Red Cross.
