Peter Armentrout, the chair of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Utah, will be giving a talk entitled "Reactivity of Lanthanides and Actinides: Chemi-ionization, Thermochemistry, Mechanisms, and Spin-orbit Effects." The talk is hosted by the Johns Hopkins Department of Chemistry.
