Description

In 2011, a report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics found that the green job industry is the fastest growing industry in the nation. In hopes of helping students enter this rapidly expanding job market, Connecting Green brings together students and employers from the green sector to foster long-lasting working relationships.

  • 6-7 p.m., Panel -- Professionals working in the green field discuss their personal experiences and answer your questions.
  • 7-8 p.m., Networking Session -- Network with professionals from a diverse array of sustainable organizations about internships and job opportunities in the rapidly expanding green job market.

The networking session will include a free, locally-sourced dinner catered by Zia's Café.

This event is organized with support from the Johns Hopkins Career Center and the Office of Sustainability.
