Science Communication Series: Oral Communication Workshop

Project Bridge and the Johns Hopkins Science Policy Group are hosting a Science Communication Series in two parts. For the first workshop, Dr. Keeve Nachman and Dr. Nicolaas Adrianus Johannes "Nick" Puts will discuss how to effectively communicate science to various audiences, from friends and family to political representatives and policy decision-makers. Their presentations will be followed by a breakout session for participants to practice honing their messages.
Dr. Keeve Nachman is an assistant professor of Environmental Health and Engineering and of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. He is also director of the Center for a Livable Future's Food Production and Public Health Program. Dr. Puts is an assistant professor of Radiology and Radiological Science at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
