Description

Learn more about the Master of Arts in Teaching (Elementary/Secondary) program at the Johns Hopkins School of Education, a rigorous program that uniquely prepares aspiring teachers to embrace the challenges of diverse classrooms.

Students work with an adviser to complete a program of study that fulfills the Maryland State Department of Education requirements for certification as a teacher in Maryland. The program requires a minimum of 39 credits; specific additional content-area course work may be needed due to differences in undergraduate preparation.
