Description

The keynote speaker for the 37th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration is Derrick Johnson, president and CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). The theme of Johnson's address will be "Celebrating the Power of Voices." The event will also feature the eight Johns Hopkins faculty and staff members receiving the 2018 MLK Jr. Awards for Community Service and a performance by gospel choir Unified Voices, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The event will also be streamed online.

Seating for this celebration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
