Sexual Assault Resource Unit

Description

Dress up and join the Johns Hopkins Sexual Assault Resource Unit for a fun night of good food and an amazing speaker. Doors open at 7:30.

This year's speaker is Hannah Sawyerr, a Sierra Leonean-American award-winning writer and the author of the poetry collection For Girls Growing into Their Hips. Her poetry tackles her experiences with sexual assault, being a first-generation American with a refugee father, and more. Sawyerr will perform pieces from the collection as well as a new piece about sexual assault.
