Anti-oppressive care for HIV and AIDS

Description
How do practitioners address power and privilege in health professional relationships? What strategies exist to center anti-oppression in holistic care? In light of World AIDS Day, SOURCE is partnering with the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing to highlight the intentional ways Sisters Together And Reaching (STAR) used anti-oppressive frameworks to care, which focus on helping service providers understand power and privilege especially in a health service relationship. These frameworks help shift the power dynamic in helping relationships and program design.
