Women Faculty Forum Coffee Hour: Graduate student advising

Description

Homewood faculty of all ranks and genders are invited to join the Women Faculty Forum to discuss graduate student advising. In addition to drawing on their experience as faculty and as former graduate students, attendees will consider relevant resources, including the National Academy of Sciences' recent recommendation to "diffuse the hierarchical and dependent relationship between faculty and trainees" and various alternative approaches to the traditional faculty-advisee relationship.
