LGBTQ+ upstander/allyship training: A toolkit for empowerment and mindful support
Description
SOURCE and a collective of LGBTQ+ students across the three Johns Hopkins University Health Institutions (Schools of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing) have developed an upstander/allyship training. The content was collaboratively cultivated through real-life experiences from students across student life, interactions with staff, centers, faculty, advising, etc. The goal of this training is to supplement SAFE Zone training by illuminating history, presenting frameworks and resources to address oppression, and to provide an opportunity to apply learning.
