Description

Join Teach for America for an alumni panel with some incredible alumni working in medicine, consulting, education, and non-profit work followed by networking and hors d'oeuvres. Snappy casual attire suggested.

The alumni panelists:

  • Chelsea Zou is a 2017 Johns Hopkins graduate in English, International Studies, and Africana Studies. She joined Teach for America in Baltimore and is now teaching third-grade language arts.
  • Jacob Wildfire is a 2013 Johns Hopkins graduate in International Relations and Spanish. He joined the Corps in Kentucky teaching middle school English. Currently he is a Deloitte consultant.
  • John Choi is a 2012 Teach for America Corps member who taught high school science for three years. He is currently a fourth-year medical student doing a research year in neuro-oncology and immunology.
  • Patrick Cero is a 2014 George Washington University graduate in Geography. He joined Teach for America in Baltimore teaching middle school social studies. Currently he is an operations coordinator at Urban Teachers.
  • Elena Walsh is a 2009 Johns Hopkins graduate in Art History and History. She joined Teach for America in Baltimore teaching high school social studies. Currently she is a college access specialist for Baltimore City Schools.
