Mexico 1968: A View from the South
Description
The Latin America in a Globalizing World Initiative hosts a conversation with Alan Shane Dillingham, an assistant professor in and director of the Latin American Studies program at Spring Hill College, about the broad context of dissident politics in Mexico in 1968. Moving beyond the spectacle of the 1968 Olympics and the student massacre at Tlatelolco, he will speak to the country's role in the international rise of third worldism.
