Description

Join Sigma Gamma Epsilon and faculty members of the Earth and Planetary Sciences Department for a night of science and fun. The second annual research panel helps the Johns Hopkins community learn more about ongoing research in the earth and planetary sciences at the university. There will be pizza provided.

Panelists and research interests include:

  • Kathy Szlavecz (soil ecology, biogeochemistry, geobiology, urban ecosystems)
  • Sabine Stanley (planetary magnetism, dynamo theory, planetary interiors, geophysics)
  • Richard Stolarski (atmospheric chemistry, ozone layer)
  • Emmy Smith (sedimentary geology, biostratigraphy, Earth history, tectonics)
