Description
Occasional Symphony gives its flagship Halloween show featuring the 1926 Japanese silent horror film A Page of Madness directed by Teinosuke Kinugasa. Occasional Symphony, led by music director Ryan Tani and joined by soprano Kerry Holahan, will provide a live soundtrack to the silent film featuring classical favorites and world premieres of compositions by Nicholas Bentz, Joshua Bornfield, Douglas Buchanan, Haley Olsen, and Alexa Rinn.
Attendees are encouraged to come in costume.
Occasional Symphony is an organization led by members of the Hopkins School of Medicine, Peabody Conservatory, and members of the larger Baltimore community.
