Professional Development Day

The Graduate and Postdoctoral Professional Development Consortium is proud to announce their first collaborative event: Professional Development Day on October 19, 2018.

This is a full-day series of events featuring:

• Keynote speech by Dr. Farouk Dey, new JHU Vice Provost for Integrative Learning and Life Design
• 10 one-hour sessions covering a wide-range of career competencies, including professional communication, leadership and team work, digital technology, life skills, international career management, and career exploration
• Professional headshots for LinkedIn profiles from 1 to 4 p.m.
• Free lunch
• Professional Development Happy Hour Fair where trainees can have resumes reviewed, relieve stress through mini-massages and socializing, and network with peers, student groups, and consortium offices.

This event is open to all JHU graduate students and postdocs. Participants can attend workshops for the entire day or attend the workshops of their choosing. Participants will indicate their session preferences as part of their registration.
