Description
The Morton K. Blaustein Earth and Planetary Sciences Department presents an alumni lecture by Donald A. Swanson, Ph.D. '64, entitled "Volcanoes Falling Apart: Observations During Eruptions of Mount St. Helens (1980) and Kīlauea (2018)." The lecture will be followed by the presentation of the 2018 Johns Hopkins University Distinguished Alumni Award.
There will be an hour-long reception prior to the lecture.
