Description
The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University presents internationally acclaimed Cristina Pato and her quartet performing their Latina program, exploring the diffusion of Latinx music and featuring accordion, double bass, and drums. Pato is one of the few masters of the gaita, or Galician bagpipe, which is known for its unmistakable sound, described as haunting, tender, and ferocious.
