Description

In light of the current political climate, many students find themselves frustrated and uninformed on the magnitude of the health issues facing immigrants and how they can help as professionals. Join us for a panel conversation with community leaders. Speakers include Monica Guerrero Vazquez (executive director, Centro SOL), Stephanie Wolfe (engagement coordinator, Soccer Without Borders), Betty Symington (director, Episcopal Refugee and Immigrant Center Alliance), and Eric Seymour (volunteer and outreach coordinator, Esperanza Center). Lunch will be provided. RSVP required to SOURCE@jhu.edu with your name, email, and school affiliation.

Sponsored by the Student Outreach Resource Center, the School of Medicine's Center for Medical Humanities and Social Medicine, and the Krieger School's Racism, Immigration, and Citizenship Program.
