Editor's note: This lecture has been canceled. Tom O'Halloran will discuss his work: "Forests or Fields? Choosing the Ideal Land Cover for Cooling the Climate." This talk is part of the Bromery Lecture Series.

O'Halloran is an assistant professor at the Baruch Institute of Coastal Ecology and Forest Science and in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Conservation at Clemson University. His research examines the effects of disturbances and management on the way forests and terrestrial ecosystems interact with climate.
