Attend this info session to learn about the popular intersession abroad program in Ecuador and the Galapagos, open to Hopkins undergraduate students of all years and majors. The 3 (N) credit course abroad introduces students to the tropical Biology and evolution of Ecuador's Highlands, Amazon Rain Forest, and Galapagos Islands, essentially recreating the portion of Charles Darwin's voyage to South America, which led to the development of his ideas on Natural Selection. The course also introduces students to the history, art, and culture of Ecuador. Students will attend lectures on the JHU campus prior to departure to receive background information on the various topics that will be addressed while abroad.
