Description

Mzuzah Africa and Net Impact will host the Mzuzah Convergence 2018 conference at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, developed in collaboration with Carey Business School Professor James Calvin and students from Carey's Innovation for Humanity (I4H) program who participated in Mzuzah Convergence 2017 in Accra, Ghana.

The convergence will explore Africa's role in global sustainability. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minister of Education for Ghana, will provide the conference's keynote address on May 29. Other scheduled participants include Kevin Frick, Professor and Vice Dean for Education at the Carey Business School; and Kevin White, founder of Global Vision 2020 and a Carey Business School MBA candidate. White recently won a $1 million prize from WeWork for developing the USee system that helps provide prescription eyeglasses to patients living in low-income countries.

Event agenda and parking information will be sent to registered guests in advance of the event.
