During the Agentic AI for Science (AAI4Science) Hackathon, participants will explore and evaluate the capabilities of artificial intelligence tools on scientific questions spanning physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. While these models can deliver highly accurate insights, they sometimes produce incorrect answers with high confidence (known as hallucinations). Understanding and mitigating such hallucinations is essential for reliable scientific discovery.
