Provost's DELTA Teaching Forum set for May 1 at Homewood

It's your opportunity to explore innovative teaching at JHU and network with colleagues

The Provost's DELTA Teaching Forum is scheduled for Thursday, May 1, at the Bloomberg Center for Physics and Astronomy on the Homewood campus.

The annual event provides a day of presentations, demonstrations, and networking opportunities devoted to the exploration of innovative teaching at Johns Hopkins University, including the work of DELTA grant recipients. The symposium is intended to provoke conversation, spark new thinking, and advance the ongoing pursuit of teaching excellence.

Plenary sessions will include a keynote address by Neil Richard, co-director of the Cordell Institute for Policy in Medicine & Law at Washington University School of Law; an exploratory performance demonstrating the use of improvisation, self-care, and mindfulness in teaching by Peabody faculty members Carl Dupont and Richard Johnson; and a panel on student perspectives in education.

Most sessions will allow for virtual participation via Zoom.
