Online enrollment for your 2025 university benefits begins today, Oct. 16, and runs through Oct. 31. Take advantage of this once-a-year opportunity to learn what's new, revisit your current elections, and update your benefits to be sure you have the best coverage to support you and your loved ones in the year ahead.

Benefits & Worklife is hosting three upcoming 2025 Annual Enrollment Virtual Town Halls to help you understand your selection of benefits—including medical plan options, your health care advocacy service, and enhancements to pharmacy, voluntary benefits, and 403(b) retirement plans—to help you make thoughtful, informed decisions for you and your family.

There are very few changes to the university's benefits for 2025, but you may want to consider whether options you don't have now will serve you better in the coming year. Take 10 minutes with ALEX, your virtual benefits counselor, to explore your options for 2025.

If you don't actively enroll, you'll have the same benefits—such as dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits—at the same coverage level that you have now, but at 2025 rates.

You must enroll if you want to:

  • Contribute to a flexible spending account or health savings account (for those enrolled in the CareFirst BCBS high-deductible health plan)
  • Apply or reapply for the child care voucher program and/or a scholarship to a JHU Partner Center
  • Add or remove a dependent to or from any plan
  • Increase your life insurance coverage

Go to the Benefits & Worklife website and click on the Benefits Enrollment button for all the 2025 Annual Enrollment information and to access the benefits enrollment site.

If you need assistance, contact the Benefits Service Center at 410-516-2000 or benefits@jhu.edu.
