Chris Bauman joins Carey School as associate dean for finance and administration

Chris Bauman joins the Carey Business School as the new associate dean for finance and administration. He comes from the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University, where for the last three years he served as assistant dean of finance and administration. Prior to that position, Bauman spent more than a decade in a number of financial management roles at Pepperdine, where he also earned his MBA and undergraduate degrees. At Johns Hopkins, Bauman will be responsible for Carey's finances, facility operations, human resources, information technology, office space management, and crisis and risk management.

Jill Green took on a new role as associate dean for admissions and programs on June 1. Green joined Carey last year as associate dean for student development, heading career development and student services. Before that, she was assistant dean for career development at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she led the career development team, oversaw the externship programs, and developed public interest and leadership initiatives. Green also has served as visiting clinical professor at the University of Maine School of Law, assistant attorney general for the state of Maine, Frank M. Coffin Fellow at Pine Tree Legal Assistance, staff attorney at the Brooklyn Children's Law Center, and Family Law Fellow at Penquis CAP.
