With so much to juggle at work and at home, is it any wonder that faculty and staff get stressed? While there's no way to avoid all of it, there are some ways to manage it more effectively.

Join Work, Life and Engagement staff for a relaxing one-hour workshop that will provide some stress management techniques such as mindfulness meditation, a technique that can be practiced by anyone regardless of religious or spiritual beliefs. It provides tools for calming the mind and short-circuiting the body's stress response, providing a chance for the practitioner to get out of the cycle of chronic stress.

The one-hour workshop will be held twice: at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Homewood and at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 31, in East Baltimore. The Johns Hopkins Shuttle makes frequent runs between campuses.
