What better way to celebrate Halloween than with spookily good chili and sweet treats while raising funds for a great cause?
The Johns Hopkins United Way Campaign is here, and with it comes the 15th annual Johns Hopkins University Chili Cook-off/Dessert Bake-off. So break out your crockpots and baking pans, and enter your tasty treats by completing the registration form by Friday, Oct. 20.
The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, in the Glass Pavilion on the Homewood campus. Admission is $5 with a Halloween costume or accessory or $10 without.
All entrants will receive two free admissions to the event, two raffle tickets for a chance to win a variety of JHU items, and a Live United T-shirt.
If you are interested in volunteering to serve chili or baked goods, contact Katie Walsh at kschro10@jhu.edu or 443-997-7000.
