Great deals on resorts and travel

Planning a trip this summer? As a first step, you might want to look into the various vacation deals available to you as a Johns Hopkins employee. For example: 25 percent off your rental car, or a travel advice team at your service.

Through JHU's partnership program with TravelPerks, you can find a wide range of savings on resorts, cruises, and tour vacations. Sample trip options include a river cruise on the Danube, four nights at a Hawaiian spa, or a scuba diving excursion in Belize.

Benefits to using a TravelPerks membership as your trip-planning platform include zero booking fees, bonus credits for each vacation, and a service team available every day of the week to answer questions or give advice.

Another JHU partnership, Abenity's Saving Pass, can connect you with deals for rental cars and hotels, in addition to savings on admission at various U.S. theme parks, including Busch Gardens and Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, Virginia, or SeaWorld and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

A similar option for savings at hotels (up to 60 percent per room) and attractions (think Disney World, Cirque de Soleil) is signing up for a TicketsatWork account through Hopkins.

The Johns Hopkins Office of Work, Life and Engagement doesn't endorse any one savings plan above another but can help connect you to all of them.

For a TravelPerks membership or TicketsatWork account, contact Work, Life and Engagement at worklife@jhu.edu or 443-997-7000 to get your special savings code, then continue with your online signups through the third-party sites. For Abenity's pass, follow the instructions here to sign up.
