Whether you're a Johns Hopkins frequent flier, travel arranger, or event planner, make purchases for your office—or just love everything associated with travel—you'll want to know about the upcoming Travel Procurement Vendor Day, hosted by the Johns Hopkins Travel Office.
Many of the office's preferred vendors will be on hand—among them, Amtrak, Fast Park & Relax, Freedom Car, Lyft, Marriott, National/Enterprise, and Southwest—so you'll have an opportunity to meet with them and ask questions.
You'll also be able to speak with your colleagues in Procurement, including those in Purchase Order Processing, Contracting, Sourcing, Purchasing, HopkinsLocal, and Amazon Business.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, in Levering Hall on the Homewood campus. Preferred suppliers will be set up in the Great Room. Scheduled for the Sherwood Room are demonstrations by Concur at 9 a.m., Cvent at 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and Amazon Business at 11:30 a.m.; representatives of the Purchasing Office will be on hand from 2 to 3 p.m.
