At a noontime workshop on Thursday, Aug. 18, Katie Schroeder, Live Near Your Work program manager, will discuss the steps employees need to take to use a LNYW grant to help purchase a new or existing home in Baltimore City. Ryan Homes will explain what to expect when buying a new-construction home, including the advantages of buying new construction versus existing properties, a typical timeline for this type of purchase, and selecting options in addition to already included home amenities. And the real estate professionals involved in new-construction purchases (developer, builder, lender, title company, and others) will be reviewed. Ryan Homes also will provide a sneak peek at its exciting new development in Eager Park in East Baltimore.
