The construction fence for the Krieger waterproofing repair and colonnade restoration project will be complete on Friday, June 17, and pedestrians will need to use detour routes around that area of the Keyser Quad for the remainder of the project. In particular, individuals will no longer be able to go between the upper and lower quads through the breezeway between Krieger and Ames halls.
Wayfinding signs have been installed to help individuals navigate around the area, and a map showing pedestrian and ADA accessible alternate routes is available on the project website.
The project will involve waterproofing repairs to the north facade of Krieger Hall above and below ground level, and correction of structural deficiencies in the colonnaded walkway. The project is scheduled to be complete in fall 2017.
