Valid Hopkins ID provides entry to lacrosse games for you and a guest

If you're a longtime JHU employee, you probably remember a perennial harbinger of spring: heading to Homewood's Newton White Athletic Center to pick up your tickets for the upcoming Blue Jays lacrosse season.

That long-standing tradition, however, was replaced last year by the Athletics Department with an easier process that continues for the 2016 season.

All you have to do is arrive at the game and bring your JCard or other Hopkins ID to the main gate at Schelle Pavilion, where an event staff member will verify that you're a valid Hopkins employee (or retiree) and then allow you and one guest to enter, free of charge.

Without a valid, working Hopkins ID, you will be required to purchase tickets.

If your ID is not working properly at this time, you should visit your JCard or other Johns Hopkins ID office during regular business hours to have it fixed or replaced.

If you have any questions, call the Athletic Center's main office at 410-516-7490.

Upcoming home games include Princeton, March 5; Towson, March 12; and Syracuse, March 19.
