Summer at CTY: Dependent kids of JHU employees are eligible for tuition remission

Looking for fun learning opportunities for your bright child this summer? The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth is now accepting applications for its 2016 Summer Programs.

CTY's day programs for students in grades 2-6 and residential programs for students in grades 5-12 offer three weeks of challenging course work in a wide range of subjects that include Ancient Greek, forensics, philosophy, robotics, writing, and zoology. Held at 25 sites in the U.S. and Hong Kong, CTY programs connect academically advanced students with others who share their interests as part of a community of learners from around the world. For JHU employees whose dependent children attend CTY's programs, JHU's tuition-remission benefit covers 50 percent of the tuition costs.

Students can become eligible for CTY's summer, online, or family programs by participating in CTY's Talent Search, through which they take an above-grade-level test to determine their academic abilities.

Spaces in CTY summer programs fill quickly, so act soon to take advantage of this opportunity.
