A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 14, to honor Patricia Charache, a nationally and internationally known infectious diseases specialist and medical microbiologist who practiced at Johns Hopkins for more than 50 years. Charache, who died on Sept. 12, held the title of distinguished professor emerita of pathology, medicine and oncology and was known as both a gifted teacher and researcher.
The tribute will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Tilghman Auditorium on the East Baltimore campus.
